God has opened a door. An exchange with a person you know, an acquaintance or family member is turned to questions of faith and then you suddenly have the opportunity to discuss the meaning of having a relationship with God is real.
What are you going to do?
Whatever your level of comfort is regarded to personal evangelism, the fact is that God has created an opportunity for you, and wants to work through you to transform the life of someone else.
1. The Power of Your Story
The best way to talk about the most amazing thing that’s been happening to you is through telling your story, or your experience and a first-hand account. Tell candidly and directly to your family or friends what you have experienced when you gave all your heart to Christ.
If you tell your story, be sure to open your life to people in a non-threatening manner. Define what Jesus Christ is and the personal impact He has had on you. When you share evidence of the way that your faith in God has changed your circumstances, you show an example of the power of salvation.
Even if your story doesn’t include fireworks or tragic events, it’s still a miracle. People are seeking evidence of God exists and is actively involve in people’s lives. Your experience proves that God would like to meet you. and they. More than a technique or formula it’s an attitude of life that is open to God when He opens doors for you. offers you.
2. Ask the Right Questions
What can I do to communicate Christ with someone who is not my friend? When Jesus gave the gospel He met people who were on their turf: tax collectors, adulterers, and leaders who are well-educated small children, physically challenged women and men, as well as people who work in the commons. He would often begin His talks by asking questions and then listen to the answers provided.
Jeff Van Beaver Explains The Incident of Jesus and The Samaritan Woman
Jesus knew that the Pharisees knew that Jesus was baptizing, and was creating many more followers than John (though Jesus himself didn’t baptize them; his fellow disciples did). So Jesus left Judea and went back to Galilee said, Jeff Van Beaver
He must pass through Samaria to get there. Eventually, he arrive at his destination, which was the Samaritan town of Sychar near the field Jacob left it to the son of his Joseph. Jacob’s well was there and Jesus exhausted from his long trek, was sat drowsily in the middle of the well around noon. Soon a Samaritan woman approached to drink the water, and Jesus told her “Please give me a drink.” He was on his own at the moment because his followers had gone to the village to purchase some food items.
The woman was stunned by this, as Jews do not want any connection with the Samaritans. *She asked Jesus, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. Why do you want to ask me to drink?”
Jesus responded, “If you only knew the gift God has for you and who you are speaking to, you would ask me, and I would give you living water.”
“But Sir I don’t think you have a rope nor bucket,” the woman said “and the well you’re in is quite deep. Where did you find this freshwater? And in addition, Do you think that you’re more powerful than our great-grandfather Jacob who gave us this well? What can you do to provide more water than the sons of Jacob and his livestock enjoyed?”
Jesus said, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon be thirsty once more. But those who drink the water I offer will never thirst again. It will become a new bubbling spring inside their bodies, giving them everlasting life.”
“Please Sir,” the woman said, “give me this water! It will ensure that I never get thirsty and I won’t even have to visit here in order to obtain water.”
“Go and find your spouse,” Jesus told her.
“I do not have a husband,” the woman replied.
Jesus said, “You’re right! You are not married to a man— for you’ve been married to five men, and you’re not yet married to this person who you are living with today. It’s true!”
“Sir,” the woman told him, “you must be a prophet. So ask me what is the reason why the Jews claim the fact that Jerusalem is the sole site of worship, but the Samaritans believe it’s located at Mount Gerizim, *where our ancestors gathered?”
Jesus said, “Believe me, dear woman, the day is near in which it won’t matter if you worship the Father either on the mountain or Jerusalem. You Samaritans have no idea about the God you worship, whereas the Jews are well-versed in his teachings because salvation is through Jews. But it is coming — in fact, it’s already here–when true worshippers are going to worship God in spirit and the truth. God is seeking those who worship him in this way. For God is Spirit So worshippers must worship with a spirit and with the truth.”
The woman told her, “I know the Messiah is coming, the one who is referring to as Christ. When he is here and explains all things for us.”
Then Jesus said to her “I Am the Messiah!” *
Just the next day, his followers returned. They were shocked by the sight of that he was talking to a woman however they did not have the courage to ask “What do you want with her?” or “Why are you talking to her?” The woman emptied her water jar near the well, returned to the village, and told all the people, “Come and look at a man who was able to tell me everything I did! Could he be Messiah?” So the crowds poured into the village to meet the man.
Meanwhile, the disciples were informing Jesus, “Rabbi, eat something.”
But Jesus responded, “I have a kind of food you know nothing about.”
“Did someone provide him with food when we left?” the disciples asked one another.
Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from following what is the commandment of God whom I was sent by, as well from completing his mission. You have heard the phrase”Four months between the time of planting and harvest. However, I’m saying to get up and take a look around. The fields are already ready for harvest. The harvesters earn well and the fruit they pick is the ones who are that are raise to the eternal realm of life. It is a joy for both the person who plants and the one who harvests alike! You have heard the phrase “One plant, and the other harvests. This is true. I instructed you to harvest in areas you didn’t plant. Other people had already completed the work and now you have to harvest the fruits.”
Jeff Van Beaver Explains Many Samaritans Believe
Many Samaritans in the town were believers that they were Jesus since the girl declared, “He told me everything I ever did!” When they came to meet Jesus they begged for him for a stay at their community. Then he stayed two days long enough for many to listen to his message and trust him. Then they told the woman “Now we are believers, not only because of what you have told us however, we believe because we have seen him in person. Now we are convincing that he truly is the Lord of all the earth.”
Jeff Van Beaver explains how Jesus Heals an Official’s Son
At the conclusion of 2 days, Jesus left for Galilee. He himself had stated that a prophet was not a respected figure in his hometown. Yet the Galileans were elated as they were in Jerusalem during Passover time. Passover celebration and had witnessed all he had done there.
As he was traveling through Galilee and reached Cana which was where he transformed his water to wine. There was a high-ranking official near Capernaum where his son was sick. When he learned that Jesus was coming out of Judea to Galilee the official went and requested Jesus to visit Capernaum to treat his son, who was nearing death.
Jesus asked, “Will you never believe in me unless you see miraculous signs and wonders?”
The official demanded, “Lord, please come now before my little boy dies.”
Then Jesus instructed him to, “Go back home. Your son will be a victor!” And the man believed in what Jesus told him and went on the journey back home.
While the man was heading to the airport to his destination, his staff came to him and informed him the boy was healthy and alive. He asked them when the child began to recover and they responded, “Yesterday afternoon at one o’clock his fever suddenly disappeared!” Then the father realized it was precisely at that moment that Jesus had said to him “Your son will live.” He as well as his entire family had faith in Jesus. This was the second miracle demonstration Jesus perform in Galilee following his arrival from Judea.
